IntendCloud is a compliance scanning tool operated by Shahi Cloud Consulting AB, Sweden. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

Data Collection

CLI Tool

• The IntendCloud CLI runs locally on your machine
• We do not collect or transmit your AWS credentials
• Scan results are stored locally by default
• No compliance findings or infrastructure details are sent to IntendCloud servers

Website

• We use minimal analytics to improve the website experience
• No personal information is collected without your consent
• We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising

Optional Cloud Storage (Enterprise Only)

Enterprise customers may opt-in to cloud-based report storage with the following protections:

• All data encrypted at rest (AES-256)
• All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3)
• Data stored in EU or customer-specified region
• Customer retains full ownership and can request deletion at any time

Third-Party Services

The CLI orchestrates the following open-source tools (all run locally):

• Checkov (Bridgecrew/Palo Alto Networks) for IaC scanning
• Prowler (Prowler-cloud/Toni de la Fuente) for AWS runtime scanning
• Terraform/OpenTofu for drift detection

These tools operate on your local machine. Refer to their respective privacy policies for details.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access any data we store about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt-out of analytics
• Export your data in a portable format
